“A Pet Project for Life, Not Just for Christmas”
Two habits I’d like to adopt are: creating something every day, and not expecting perfection or allowing for frustration. Every hobby I’ve ever attempted, I abandon immediately because I’m not patient. The first half of 2009 taught me that hard work with no higher goal, and to a greater extent, hard work without feeling excited, pumped, and passionate about what I’m doing results in becoming completely out of touch with myself and ultimately — really miserable. The past six months I’ve been gradually stepping out of that mindset, but I’m ready to kick it up a thousand more notches.
(Today, I drew my coffee mug over and over for half an hour. No thinking allowed.)

Watched all of these videos again. They’re so honest, touching and real! I love listening to people’s stories.
Side Rant: I never understood why people have conversations when they’re waiting for the next possible moment to talk about themselves. My personal goal in future conversations is to get talking about what the other person is passionate about— the best part about meeting new people!
